Shale Gas Asia 2011 summit to explore Asian sources

USA (Commodity Online): After an explosive growth of shale gas production in the U.S.A ,North American shale gas experts to visit New Delhi in February to meet with the leading E&Ps from India, China and Indonesia to build working partnerships for joint shale exploration within Asia.

Meanwhile, for the first time, experienced U.S. shale gas operators will be explaining the transferable lessons from the North American success stories that can be applied to the Asian market.

They will be providing an in-depth explanation of the most cost-competitive geological, drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies for shale gas production and how they can be adapted to the Asian market.

They will also break down the key costs involved in shale gas production to determine what return on investment could be achieved in the India, China & Indonesia.
